Sleep Breathing Disorders

Sleep breathing disorders are a group of conditions that affect normal breathing during sleep, leading to disrupted sleep and potential health risks. The most common disorder is obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), where the airway becomes partially or fully blocked during sleep, causing pauses in breathing. Other conditions include central sleep apnoea (CSA), where the brain fails to send proper signals to the muscles that control breathing, and sleep-related hypoventilation disorders, which involve insufficient breathing during sleep.
